No matter when you come, you will be guaranteed a warm welcome with one of Linda’s famous cream teas and the opportunity to spend time in one of Britain’s most gorgeous areas.
We are five minutes from the Salcombe Estuary, it is thought that Lord Tennyson's famous poem "Crossing the Bar" was inspired by a visit to Salcombe during the 19th century. The poem starts with the lines,
“Sunset and evening star and one clear call for me! And may there be no moaning of the bar, When I put out to sea."
